Partnership Award Winners 2021
Partnership award Winners 2021
The National Network of Partnership Schools (NNPS) at Johns Hopkins University is pleased to announce that 8 schools, 3 district, and 2 organizations earned 2021 Partnership Awards. These sites are conducting strong and sustained programs of school, family, and community partnerships. They use NNPS research-based approaches and customize practices for family and community engagement to meet the goals, needs, and interests in their own communities. This was very important in the 20-21 school year because these programs continued to strengthen their partnership programs before and during the COVID-19 crisis.
At each policy level, the award-winning programs have strong leaders, emphasize teamwork, use research-based structures and processes, and implement goal-linked practices to engage all families as partners in children’s education. Each program works to sustain a welcoming climate for all partners in students’ education. Each program engages family and community partners in ways that contribute to student achievement, behavior, and other indicators of success in school.
The award-winning programs received a Partnership Award Certificate and a gift certificate for one free renewal of membership in NNPS for the next school year or for other NNPS products and services.
