This section spotlights some successful programs and practices conducted by members of NNPS.

These exciting stories-from-the-field demonstrate the energy, effort, and enthusiasm of thousands of educators, parents and other family members, community partners, and students in very diverse communities as they work together improve their partnership programs.

NNPS features activities of schools, districts, states, and organizations in annual books of Promising Partnership Practices. The collections, since 1998, include over 1500 good ideas from members of NNPS to improve family and community involvement linked to school improvement and student success. Members may submit a best practice each year.

Samplers focus on specific goal-linked topics to improve partnership activities for student success in school and the quality of partnership programs. Each Sampler includes a summary of research results and ten ideas that will help improve programs of family and community engagement.

Third, we present the winners of NNPS Partnership Awards. The schools, districts, states, and organizations that are recognized each year demonstrate excellence in applying NNPS research-based approaches to implement goal-linked programs of school, family, and community partnerships.
