The National Network of Partnership Schools (NNPS) at Johns Hopkins University is pleased to announce that 6 schools, 5 districts, and 3 organizations earned 2018 Partnership Awards. These sites are showing how to develop and sustain goal-linked programs of school, family, and community partnerships. They use NNPS research-based approaches and tailor practices for family and community engagement to meet the needs and interests of their own communities.
At each policy level, the award-winning programs have strong leadership, sustainable structures, and goal-linked practices that enable all families to feel welcome at their children’s schools. Each program conducts activities that engage families in ways that contribute to student achievement and other indicators of success in school.
The winning programs received an award plaque and a certificate for one free renewal of membership in membership in NNPS for the next school year or for other NNPS products and services. One district (see *) earned the NNPS Special Recognition prize of $500 for excellent and on-going work and progress.
