INET was founded by Joyce Epstein and the late Don Davies in 1991 as an informal international network. Now, it includes over 300 scholars from over 30 nations who study many aspects of school, family, and community partnerships.
INET convenes every other year at the start of AERA for researchers to report new work on family and community engagement, share ideas, and renew friendships.
The 22nd INET Roundtable is being conducted April 8 at AERA in Los Angeles, CA. Over 35 researchers and program developers are represented. They are from Canada, Chile, China, Cyprus, Hungary, and 15 states and DC in the USA. Their studies and projects include data from parents, students, and educators from various countries, urban and rural communities, and diverse populations. The field of study is wide and deep.
