The activities illustrate how to engage diverse families and community partners at all grade levels using the six types of involvement in the NNPS framework: parenting, communicating, volunteering, learning at home, decision making, and collaborating with the community.
The field-tested activities may be used or adapted by school-based Action Teams for Partnerships (ATPs) and by district and organization leaders to strengthen their programs of family and community involvement.
