2015 Partnership Award Winners

2015 Partnership Award Winners

The National Network of Partnership Schools (NNPS) at Johns Hopkins University is pleased to announce that 12 schools, 7 districts, and 1 organization earned 2015 Partnership Awards.  These sites are demonstrating how to develop and sustain research-based, goal-linked programs of school, family, and community partnerships.  At each policy level, the award winners are strengthening leadership, building structures, and conducting practices that enable all families to feel welcome at their children’s schools and to engage in involvement activities that contribute to student achievement and other indicators of success.

The winning programs received an award plaque and one free registration to an NNPS professional development conference.  Or, they may use the award to renew membership in NNPS for the next school year.  Five schools earned Special Recognition prizes of $500 for their progress and promise (see *).  Two districts and an organization were selected as NNPS Conference Partners for the fall 2015 Leadership Development Conference (see **). They co-facilitated conference sessions with NNPS staff to help other members of NNPS develop award-winning programs.
